Intensive Training on Human Trafficking Law, Policy & Practice
Join us this summer for our 2016 Human Trafficking Academy, a program designed to accommodate professionals at all levels of their knowledge in the field of human trafficking. You will be able to attend 15 courses, taught by top experts nation-wide, academics and practitioners with long-time experience in combating trafficking in persons, in formal and informal settings.
You will leave the Academy knowing better and more intelligent ways of doing your noble work of saving lives and restoring dignity to survivors while improving justice in our society.
Through this intensive and interactive one-week training, you will gain insight into:
- manifestations and typology of human trafficking
- best approaches and successful practices by addressing the problem from the various professions' specific vantage-points
- modalities of working with survivors as well as ways agencies can cooperate with one another
- partnering with the public and private sector as well as with the community at large in order to develop a cohesive and coherent anti-trafficking strategy
