Intensive Training on Human Trafficking Law, Policy & Practice

Our Summer 2017 Human Trafficking Academy emphasizes three major dimensions necessary to provide effective, integrative training on labor and sex trafficking:

(a) work with participants to arrive at a comprehensive and norm-based understanding of all forms of human trafficking; (b) ensure a survivor-focused and survivor-input training of legal professionals, law enforcement officers and victim assistance staff of all organizations involved; (c) focus expertise and discussion on making further gains in combating human trafficking in select industries where this activity is more prevalent. This training will benefit professionals at all levels of knowledge in the field of human trafficking. Courses will be taught by top experts nation-wide, academics, and practitioners with long-time experience in combating trafficking in persons.
