Ann W. Deam graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.  She returned to the University of Florida and obtained her law degree.  She has served in the public sector with the Alachua County State Attorney’s Office as well as in private practice, specializing in areas of family law and juvenile dependency, and as a Certified Family Mediator.  Ms. Deam has also served as general counsel to non-profit organizations and is a supporter of LEAP, a prison education program for women.

While continuing her education at St. Thomas University School of Law’s LL.M/J.S.D. Program in Intercultural Human Rights, Ms. Deam serves as a member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review.
