Public-Private Partnerships in Combatting Human Trafficking:
The Role of Academia

February 18, 2020

A delegation of professionals from Albania will visit The John J. Brunetti Human Trafficking Academy of St. Thomas Law School as part of their United States tour for the Engaging Government Entities to Support Victims of Human Trafficking Program.  This visit is in cooperation with Global Ties Miami, a non-profit organization that works closely with the U.S. Department of State to facilitate international exchange programs.  The objective of this program is for the participants to understand the holistic approaches to supporting survivors and witnesses, understand trauma-informed law enforcement, and training to build public awareness around this topic.
