WHAT:

Join us as we come together as #ONETEAM against human trafficking, not only surrounding the Super Bowl, but all year long. This free event is open to the public and includes an interfaith prayer featuring guest speakers and survivors, followed by a reception and resource fair. Participants may also attend a training on human trafficking and volunteer at a Convenience Stores Against Trafficking outreach to help locate missing children.

This event is part of the Stop Sex Trafficking Campaign spearheaded by The Miami Super Bowl Host Committee, The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade, and the Office of Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle.  It is proudly hosted by IN OUR BACKYARD, THE SALVATION ARMY, and THE JOHN J. BRUNETTI HUMAN TRAFFICKING ACADEMY of St. Thomas University School of Law.

PROGRAM:

9:00 am – 10:30 am: Main Program & Interfaith Prayer

10:30 am – 11:00 am: Community Reception & Resource Fair

11:00 am – 2:00 pm: Human Trafficking Training OR Convenience Store Outreach (Optional)
